February Update - Back in Action! NFC Tags & More

February Update - Back in Action!

Hey everyone! Quick life update before we get into the fun stuff — February was a bit of a slow month for development, but for good reason.

A Birthday and New Eyes

First off, it was my birthday this month! And to celebrate turning another year older, I decided to treat myself to LASIK. Best birthday gift I could've given myself honestly. The recovery meant I had to take most of February off from screens. The good news? I can see everything crystal clear now and I'm fully recharged and ready to get back to work!

What's Coming Next: NFC Tag Support

Now for the exciting part — I've been working on a brand new feature for StashTracker: NFC tag integration.

Here's the idea: you'll be able to write NFC tags and attach them to your storage boxes, bins, or bags. Then, just tap your phone on the tag and StashTracker will instantly pull up everything that's inside that container. No more digging through boxes trying to remember what's in there and vice versa!

This is going to make inventory management so much faster and easier, especially if you've got a large stash spread across multiple storage spots. Think of it as a physical shortcut straight into your digital inventory. I'm really excited about this one and can't wait to get it into your hands.

Website Updates: FAQ Section

I'm also thinking about adding a dedicated FAQ section to the website. Right now there's some basic info scattered around, but I want to build out a more in-depth FAQ page that covers common questions about the app, features, subscriptions, and troubleshooting. The goal is to make it easier for new users to find answers quickly without having to reach out directly.

Wrapping Up

That's it for this update! February may have been quiet on the development side, but March is going to be a productive one. NFC tags, website improvements, and more are all on the horizon.

Thanks for sticking around and happy crafting!
