StashTracker 2.3: Voice Control Stitch Counter and Smarter Resets
StashTracker 2.3: Voice Control Stitch Counter and Smarter Resets
This update is a big one for anyone who hates having to take your hands off your knitting. Version 2.3 brings voice control to the stitch counter, smarter reset options, and a handful of bug fixes that have been on the list for a while.
Voice Control Stitch Counter (Premium)
Keeping count while your hands are busy has always been the challenge with stitch counters. Now you can just say it out loud.
With voice control enabled, you can use natural spoken commands to control your stitch counter without ever putting down your needles or hooks. Say "next" to increment, "back" to go back a stitch, "row" to move to the next row, or "stop" to pause listening. It works naturally mid-project so you can stay in your flow without losing your place.
This is a premium feature and one I'm really proud of. If you've ever lost count mid-row because you had to tap your phone, this is the fix you've been waiting for.
Smarter Stitch Counter Reset (Premium)
The reset options in the stitch counter have been completely reworked. You can now:
- Reset all counters at once for a fresh start on a new project
- Start a new blank counter without clearing your existing ones
It gives you a lot more flexibility depending on how you like to work, whether you're tracking multiple stitch types or just starting over from scratch.
Bug Fixes
A few things that needed fixing:
- The app icon now displays correctly in dark mode
- Scrolling through the inventory is smoother with no more stuttering
- Fixed a bug where the "What's New" tab wasn't showing up after an update
General AppStore updates
- Added new screenshots to the AppStore page to better reflect the changes
Update 2.3 should be live at the time of this post!
Thanks for all the kind messages and feedback. Updates like this one come directly from things you've asked for, so keep them coming.
